Welcome to Signalling Solutions Limited a 50/50 owned Business of ALSTOM and Balfour Beatty
On 1st October 2007 Signalling Solutions Limited became an active entity in its own right.
The formal launch of the Company took place at a gala reception on October 8th 2007 held on the top floor of 30 St Mary’s Axe, London.
The launch was attended by Senior Executives from:
- ALSTOM & Balfour Beatty
- Network Rail
- Transport for London
- Tube Lines
- Association of Train Operating Companies
- Institution of Railway Signalling Engineers
- Rail Safety and Standards Board
and many other Rail Infrastructure Suppliers.
Signalling Solutions Limited has been created by formally bringing together the two businesses of ALSTOM UK Transport Information Solutions and Balfour Beatty Rail Signalling, providing a unique opportunity to offer ‘individual’ or ‘complete solutions’ to any customer requiring design, installation, testing, commissioning and product support for signalling, power and telecommunications applications.
Signalling Solutions Limited is the source of supply in the UK and Ireland for the following:
ALSTOM Transport Information Solutions products and systems including:
- SSI central cubicles and trackside modules
- HW series point machines
- SO point actuators
- HVI Track Circuit equipment
All new ALSTOM product introductions into the UK including:
Balfour Beatty Rail products including:
- Computer Aided Testing System (CATS)
- Assetview condition monitoring system
- MPEC SA380 datalogger – event monitoring system
- Plans and Gwire software for computer aided design
New Balfour Beatty Rail product introductions including:
- Computer Geographical Interlocking (CGI)
